Na´Vi get 13% prize deduction

The ESL has announced that Natus Vincere will have their IEM5 World Championship earnings reduced by 13 percent.
This decision comes after Na´Vi broke the tournament's rules twice in the semi-final clash with mTw earlier today: the first for leaving the stage without permission at halftime of the second map and the second for calling a timeout to go to the toilet.
For the first infringement, Na´Vi have received three minor penalty points, which will deduct 3 percent off their prize, while for the second infraction, they have been given one major penalty point, which sees 10 percent of their earnings being redistributed by the ESL.
This means that, in case Na´Vi beat Frag eXecutors tomorrow and win the first prize of $35,000, the Ukrainian team will lose $4,550. If the Ukrainian giants finish in second place, they will not get $2,210 of the $17,000 they were supposed to score.
Na´Vi lose 13 percent of earnings
Na´Vi manager Aleksander "ZeroGravity" Kokhanovsky expressed his surprise at the decision, saying: "I think it's unfair because we were drinking water and Red bull during the games, so there is the possibility that one has to go to the toilet."
Kokhanovsky added that, after calling a timeout, a team is given three to five minutes, and that it should make no difference if they go somewhere or just stay chatting during that time.
mTw, who will play the third-place decider against SK Gaming tomorrow, will be deducted three percent off their prize money, also for leaving the stage at the interval of the second map.
All the money that is deducted off teams is redistributed among the remaining participants.
