OG among CCT Central Europe Series 2 invites

Nemanja "nexa" Isaković's men will join the online event from the first round of playoffs.
The knockout bracket for CCT Central Europe Series 2 event has been set, with 16 teams now fighting for the $50,000 prize pool and points in the Central Europe regional rankings. The first round of playoffs starts on Wednesday, September 28.
OG, FORZE, Endpoint, and 9z are among the teams that will join the action directly from the round of 16. Entropiq, Aurora, Entropiq, and Finest round out the list of squads invited directly to the playoffs.

OG are the highest-rated lineup in the competition as they come into the event ranked No.9 in the world, making them favorites to take the $22,000 and the lion's share of the ranking points for the CCT regional rankings. Their opening match will be against the European mix of Enterprise.
CCT CE Series 2 is the first event for OG since their disappointing 5-6th exit from ESL Challenger Melbourne and nexa's men will look to show better form ahead of the upcoming Road to Rio Europe RMR.
The tournament started with 16 teams battling it out in a Swiss-system rumble, from which only nine advanced to the knockout stage. The qualified squads will join the seven who start the tournament from the first playoff round.

9z are the only team with a non-European core in the competition and one of only four teams ranked inside the top 30 alongside OG, FORZE, and Entropiq.
Notable teams already out of the competition include MOUZ NXT, EYEBALLERS, and most importantly, Apeks. The team led by Martin "STYKO" Styk has been struggling for some time and their run at the event was cut short by consecutive losses to eSuba, HONORIS, and Enterprise.
